This book has just the right amount of funny and facts! I love how it goes from Valerie's experience while hosting at the Savage River Campground to historical information about Savage River and back again. You actually feel like you are there at Savage River, not only with Valerie, but with those that established the campground. My favorite chapter was "Knock, Knock" where Valerie told some of the stories about things campers had forgotten and were asking for. This book is fantastically written and I enjoyed reading the whole way through! Remington Beagle is especially cute! Way to go Valerie! I eagerly look forward to you next book!
